Operation of the sign is initiated manually using a remote control. This system results in optimum impact of the sign when it is of greatest use.

ENSURING SAFETY OF MOVING PEDESTRIANS
Activation of the pedestrian control initiates the illuminated enhancement on both signs.
Pedestrians are therefore safe to move, safe in both directions of traffic.
OUTLINE DETECTOR
An outline detector is placed on the side of the road, before the sign. If the height limit is reached, the illuminated enhancement of the maximum dimensions sign is activated.
Common application: Tunnels.
